The Aviation program began in 1971 under the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. In 1994 DEA granted the program Field Division status. Today, the Aviation Division consists of approx. 125 Special Agent Pilots and nearly 100 aircraft. The aircraft depicted in this 2016 ornament is a Cessna 206 - the workhorse of the DEA fleet.
